The school applies a multi-dimensional, student-centered pedagogy, learning through topics, working on projects, developing teamwork skills as well as independent working skills, etc., in order to develop self-study ability.<\/p>\n<p>The model of the tectonic bilingual program helps students to use two languages \u200b\u200bfluently, Vietnamese and English, and builds and develops their confidence and global understanding so that they can achieve success and succeed in all areas of life without any barriers of language, knowledge, or skills.<\/p>\n<p>With small class sizes and a student-centered approach, EMASI Plus students are cared for and closely monitored by their teachers to assess their learning process and practice their moral qualities focusing on developing core competencies and encouraging advancement in learning as well as the arts and sport.\u202fEMASI Plus students are trained to become responsible global citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Underpinning the pedagogical framework at EMASI Plus is the core belief that a curriculum cannot be built around a school but rather a school must be built around the curriculum. At each school in EMASI Plus Group of schools, this implies high quality, purpose-built and well-planned facilities which appropriately connect our educational philosophy with the teaching and learning programs.<\/p>\n<p>In line with the name EMASI, the curriculum features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>English (E)<\/strong>:\u202fEMASI Plus&#8217; English program using Cambridge English as the framework, provides an immersive learning experience, focusing on developing students&#8217; proficiency in English. Through engaging methods, students enhance their communication skills for academic and real-life contexts.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mathematics (M)<\/strong>:\u202fA strong Mathematics program based on the Vietnamese MoET syllabus, but significantly enhanced and updated through the adoption of modern pedagogical approaches which emphasize critical thinking, problem solving and deep conceptual understanding.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Arts (A)<\/strong>:\u202fA significant focus on Arts, not only the art production or performance but more importantly to equip the basic knowledge of art through the art appreciation and art history so that students will have a thorough understanding about art which allows them to develop their aesthetic taste, promote their creativity and enrich their lives.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Science (S):<\/strong>\u202f Students are encouraged to explore their world and discover new things through many real projects and experiments,\u202fgiving them a strong foundation to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills needed to actively participate in an increasingly technologically and scientifically advanced world.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Information Technology (I)<\/strong>:\u202fThe synchronous and complete investment of information technology infrastructure systems, equipment, and an academic team of well-experienced experts and teachers is a commitment that the school has a strong focus on students\u2019 good proficiency and knowledge of information technology \u2013 a critical adaptability in the changing technology world today and in the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to the above, the taught curriculum also includes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A focus on information literacy skills is taught as part of the\u202f<strong>Library program\u202fand integrated technology<\/strong>\u202facross all grades. This enables students to read, research, write a dissertation, study independently and critically reflect on the validity and reliability of information.<\/li>\n<li>The study of\u202f<strong>History and Geography<\/strong>\u202fdelivered in line with the MOET syllabus but enhanced through an interdisciplinary pedagogy. While the traditional pedagogy is predominantly didactics basing on one-way method from Teacher (transfer) to Students (receive), the interdisciplinary approach encourages dialogues between students and teachers, and among students through discussions, tougher studying and doing research, making projects, from different sources of information by different methods, and possibly associated with other subjects and other fields. Students are not required to learn by heart facts, rather are motivated to make inquiry, to understand the concept and the context, the cause and nature of things thus enable them to draw their own conclusion and develop their critical thinking skill.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical Education Program<\/strong>\u202fis strongly emphasized in order to ensure and optimize students\u2019 wellbeing. From this program students learn how important physical, mental and emotional health is thus build up their love and habit to do exercise and sport in order to achieve their best\u202fwellness condition. In addition, through the Physical Education Program and the sport, students learn and develop their teamwork skill and leadership.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maker Space Program<\/strong>\u202fhelps support students to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving via STEAM approach. The program is taught at all grades and designed in a way that students will have to turn their idea into some real product by leveraging their taught skill of manual tools, motorized tools, CNC machine, 3D printer, 3D scanner \u2026 with adoption of technology and IT.<\/li>\n<li>In the High School, students are introduced to\u202f<strong>logic reasoning subjects<\/strong>: philosophy, epistemology, politics and psychology, the very key areas of critical thinking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Extracurricular programs<\/strong>:\u202fEMASI Plus offers a comprehensive extracurricular program which includes a range of sporting and creative activities designed to enhance the taught curriculum and cater to the non-academic needs of the students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pastoral care and counseling<\/strong>:\u202fStudent welfare and well-being are central to the EMASI Plus philosophy and there is a strong commitment to the academic, social, emotional and psychological needs of our students.
